Regeneration of the Agora, a key site in Wolverton’s town centre.

Love Wolverton is a £25m partnership between TOWN and Trivselhus UK to redevelop the Agora Centre in Wolverton, Milton Keynes, replacing an unloved 1970s building with new streets, shops, apartments and houses.

Restoring Victorian streets

Love Wolverton will see the demolition of the Agora and redevelopment of the site and adjacent car park with a mix of shops, apartments and houses. In doing so, it will re-establish the traditional street pattern, scale and grain of this wonderful Victorian railway town.

Realising the community’s vision

We’re responding to the ambition of the Wolverton Neighbourhood Plan to make Wolverton town centre a “vibrant, attractive and distinctive neighbourhood”. The project will reconnect the main shopping streets, creating new and improved public realm and bring around 300 new residents to the town.

Sustainable living

The development will deliver over 100 modern, very-low-carbon homes in a walkable environment close to Wolverton’s bus and rail termini. Integrated renewable energy, careful water management and shared green courtyards will offer superb urban living with a light environmental footprint.

About our name

“Love Wolverton” was first coined in 2014 when TOWN originally bid (unsuccessfully) to buy the Agora. Since then, of course, the wonderful We Love Wolverton has been set up to bring the community together, partly through the medium of fantastic events such as already-legendary family-friendly raves. Mara and Charlie have asked us to make it clear that Love Wolverton and We Love Wolverton are not the same thing, which we’re happy to do.
