With planning permission for our Still Green project anticipated before the end of the year, TOWN is excited to be moving forward with detailed and technical design. Building on the collaborative process that fuelled our pre-planning phase, we’re continuing to work closely with the Still Green group to co-design their future homes and shared spaces and facilities.

Over the next few months, a series of co-design workshops will take place, covering a range of topics, including:

• Detailed internal layouts of flats
• Detailed layout of the Common House and shared facilities
• The design of the shared courtyard garden
• Fine-tuning details like cladding, balcony design and windows & doors
• Navigating mechanical & electrical specifications, including Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs) and Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MHVR), and the use of external blinds for controlling heat gain

These co-design workshops will be facilitated by TOWN, with input from our design team, including Mole architects, Urbed landscape designers and JGC services/sustainability consultants.
