We are pleased to share that James Cox, Senior Development Manager, will be taking on the role of Boardroom Apprentice at the Honeycomb Group, starting in January 2024.

Through the DLUHC Boardroom Apprentice scheme, James will contribute his expertise to the board, offering a fresh perspective and gaining valuable experience.

The Honeycomb Group is a team of social-minded brands championing happy homes in our region by providing services and support that help people across Staffordshire and its surrounding areas feel secure, connected and safe.

In his current role at TOWN, James has been instrumental in leading the Hartree project in North-East Cambridge and has a background in handling complex major developments and mixed-use regeneration projects. With a dual qualification as an urban designer and chartered planner, he brings a wealth of knowledge to the Honeycomb Group board.

The DLUHC Boardroom Apprentice programme is a twelve-month learning and development initiative designed to facilitate individuals’ entry into public or third-sector boards. James will have the opportunity to deepen his understanding of board responsibilities, decision-making processes, and receive guidance through mentorship and DLUHC learning days.
